Embodied at Sea: Imitation Learning for Multi-Task Underwater Manipulation
Trains VLA models on 1,616 underwater episodes and grades 1,260 pool rollouts, best model 93.3% including partial successes. In a field case study at a WWII wreck, single-task ACT beat generalist SmolVLA 47.9% to 7.9%.
